First of all, what a very cute pup! I like the way you used DOF to focus more on the dog. If you would have let more natural lighting hit the face/side of body to define her more (since she is darker colored), that would make the image of even greater quality. I love the colors, and the great expression you captured. I also think that if there was added space above her head and below her feet (more of a vertical type framing), that would keep the viewer's eye more focused.

I'm a professional pet photographer, and I love seeing all the great pet photos on dA.

You've done a great job, and with a few added tweaks you will have yourself an even more stunning photo.

She's Beautiful and a really nice shot you took there. A breed that gets a lot of media attention but as far as I'm concerned, one of the most lovable breeds.
